Hans was now confused. He was walking down the hallway, alone, looking down all the time. He stood across an open window and laid his arms on it, troubled on the situation. It was just one day, and so much had already happened in no time. And since Elsa seemed unwilling to just...let him go, it was obvious he'd have to go through another day. "She wouldn't do something that would hurt Anna" he thought by commenting Elsa's previous words. "What would hurt her, the fact that I'd leave? Doubt it, she showed me so. Or if Elsa accepted my apology without her opinion? This is all so subjective".
As he was standing there, he realised something. All this thing, planning schemes to hurt Anna and Elsa, just to make even. Maybe it wasn't one of his best ideas ever. If he hadn't kissed Anna out there when he noticed Kristoff...well, probably he'd have received a punch anyway, just because he was there, next to her. But maybe he wouldn't be so cornered. Or have everyone hate him and be despised by his sight. It was the first time he actually saw the bad in his actions. All the time he just tried to justify and exploit out of them. But it seemed that the way it had all gone, the whole scenery, maybe it no longer was beneficial to him to keep on with causing discords in the royal family of Arendelle. His selfishness was still active, though. It was so stupid, or at least it seemed so. All the time he was saying he should make even and have vengeance and avenge and...and...and.
Maybe....maybe Elsa and Anna had actually made even when they defeated him and sent him to his brothers. At least the other princess of the Southern Isles had been softer with him than they ought to, because he hadn't tried to do anything to get the Southern Throne at all. He wasn't really a menace to them, but instead tried his luck in another kingdom. However, no matter how soft, his punishment was outrageous and long, and had to stop now, no matter how stubborn Elsa would be on her decision.
As he was thinking, suddenly Olaf entered the hallway and approached him at high speed, then suddenly stopped in front of him with a big screech, startling him a lot. "Alright, spit it!" he told Hans. Has was confused. What was the snowman talking about? "Ah....spit what??" he asked fully puzzled. Then, Olaf took of his carrot nose on his right hand and started tapping Hans on his belly as he spoke. "Don't act like you don't do, and don't mind if I do!" he said, without making any sense. "You are here for something important, am I right or what?" Hans was still looking at Olaf with a weird expression. "I..I'm here to apologise for what happened last year" he said as he slowly pulled the carrot out of the way. "But...Anna has already told you that before". "Yeah, but I don't trust Anna and I want to hear it from you!" he said. "Oh, wait. Upside down, I don't trust you and want to hear it from Anna. And I heard it from Anna. Well then....trustworthy, I'm good" he said and packed his nose back. "Alrighty, laters!" he exclaimed happily and left, leaving Hans speechless.
Kristoff was still thinking. Anna's words were swirling in his head. Had she just admitted she enjoyed Hans' kiss? This time he was cautious and decided not to forget it so easily, but not to mention it either. Not yet. "It's really okay" he told Anna. "I believe you. But now you should rest a bit, don't you think? After all you fainted, we don't faint every other day, right?" he said in a joking way.

Anna slapped him softly in the arm. "I' m fine, I promise. It was just a bit...crazy, you know? Hans showing up. You returning early. Him kissing me. And when he didn't deny liking me, that was what made my head spin, and caused me to faint," she explained. "How about we go do something, since you're back early and it's still light out." She looked outside to see it was almost sunset. But they could still do something together, like take a stroll through the garden and catch up on events.
Meanwhile, Elsa had returned to her study and was finishing up her work for the day. There was one thing that caught her eye, though: a letter from the Southern Isles. 'Ugh. What do they want? I already have to deal wih Hans,' she thought. She slowly opened the envelope and took out the letter. It read:
Your Majesty,
I am King Erik, Hans' oldest brother. We sent him out not too long ago, but haven't heard word about an accepted apology. We hope everything is fine there. If we don' t hear anything, we'll send Prince Fredrik to take care of it.
Thank you, Erik, King of the Southern Isles
Elsa read it over a couple of times to make sure she was reading it right. Why didn't they say 'Prince' Hans? Maybe they just forgot. Yeah, that was probably it. She quickly wrote:
King Erik,
Thank you for your concerns. Prince Hans just arrived today. As for back-up, that mighht be a goodidea. I'm not afraid of your brother, but he has tried to do some things already.
Thank you, Queen Elsa of Arendelle
She stamped the seal on it, and then had one of her servants take it out. She exited the study and went to Anna's room, deciding that now was as good a tkme as any to check on her.

Hans was walking around the castle for once more. He had already been tired of this. After all, what were his chances there? None, not anymore. As he was walking, he passed outside Elsa's study room, and feel upon a servant carrying a letter. He didn't pay much attention, and instinctively took a peek inside the room. Then he noticed it. A letter, on the desk, in front of Elsa's chair. It carried the royal stamp of the Southern Isles. It was obvious, it was a letter from his older brothers, probably Erik, the eldest one. "Of course" he thought, "<<Mr. King>> couldn't wait, he sent a message without even telling me. And I assume that the letter that went off is Elsa's reply. Maybe I should ask her what Erik says. Or...sneak in her room and check on it?". As he was thinking, he was too abstracted and didn't notice he was standing right in front of the open door, with a hollow gaze and half-popped eyes, standing completely still and motionless, looking on the desk. It was the bad thing on thinking a lot.
As for Kristoff, he set aside the previous fact. For now. "Alright, your call" he told Anna, "I'd ask you if you wanna go for a walk in the city, but shouldn't we check on your sister? Last time she was alone with Hans around, he nearly killed her after all".

"Good point," Anna answered. "Come on. Before anything bad happens." She got up off of the bed and ran over to the bbedroom door. Just as she reached it, thougn, she heard a knock. She quickly opened the door to see Elsa standing there. "Oh! Hi, Elsa! We were just going to check on you."
"And I was just checking on you," Elsa answered, before hugging her sister. "I'm so glad you' re okay."
"Yeah, I'm fine. It was just a bit crazy," Anna replied. "But I'm fine now. In fact, Kristoff and I were just about to go for a walk after we checked on you. Do you want to come? Or do you still have some work to do?"
"Nope, I'm done for the day," Elsa responded. "I'd love to go, so long as that's okay. If you two wanted to have some alone time, though, I understand." Both sisters turned to Kristoff, waiting for his answer. Anna had wanted some alone time with Kristoff, but it wasn't really important. If she had to, she could wait until after the walk to catch up on things. Or maybe they would talk about it on the walk.
Although Elsa wasn't showing it, she felt really shaken inside about the letters. She had told King Erik that sending one of his sons was fine, but what if this prince was as bad as Hans? She didn't really want to deal with two troublemakers for however long it took Hans to apologize. Maybe she would talk to Anna about it later. Talking about it around Kristoff might make him explode, and she didn't really want that. He had already exploded over Hans earlier today.

Kristoff responded in a simple way. "Why, go aheah! You don't have to ask me, it's your call" and laughed instinctively".
As for Hans, he just couldn't resist. He entered the room and picked the letter. He read it carefully and realised it was written by Erik. And he was sending Fredrik, the youngest of Hans' elder brothers, the 12th in line Prince. One of the brothers who ignored him when they were children, and really tortured his life. "Uh, great" he thought, did HE really have to come here?? NOW?? Probably to check on the <<lapdog>>'s behaviour" he said and grumped in an angry way. 'And obviously Elsa accepted it. Not to mention how she may have already snitched the previous <<misunderstanding>>" he thought.

"Okay," Elsa said with a smile while Anna squealed with excitement. Elsa couldn't help but laugh at Anna.
"What's so funny?" The princess asked.
"Nothing. You just sound like a five-year-old when you do that, and it reminds me of the rimes we played before I shut you out. I never knew how much I missed that," she said, ffrowning slightly. Then she regained herself and stood upright. "Well, let's go. You lead the way, Anna."
"Okay!" The princess said. She grabbed Kristoff's arm to make sure he was coming, then ran outside into the gardens. Neither of them noticed the shadow looming from the study room suggesting that someone was in there.
When they reached the gardens, they all slowed down and began a leisurely walk. "So, how's your ice business going, Kristoff?" Elsa asked. He had come back early, so there were two possible answers: either the business was booming, or they didn't have any money. She hoped it was the former.

Kristoff seemed happy. "The ice business is better than ever. For summer, we've really hit new record, to tell the truth. But...you may have noticed that my sled has gone missing. It's um...resting in some thousands of termites' stomachs" he said and laughed a bit, but realised it wasn't really funny. "Um...otherwise I'd have noticed there was a huge termite nest below where I parked it" he said, "but...it just happened".
Meanwhile, Hans hot the roof. He reflexively tore the letter apart, before he realised he should for no reason have done it. Hearing some footsteps from outside, and for fear of Elsa or any guard noticing him in the room holding the torn letter, he opened the window and threw the pieces outside, then slammed it quickly and walked hastely outside the room, whistling indifferently. He decided to exit the castle and have a walk as well, no matter what Elsa wanted, either to keep him inside the castle or not. After all, his beloved brother was coming to check on the little <<toddler>>. It was just another storm to go by.
However, little did Hans know that the pieces of the letter, which he tossed over the window, were dragged by the wind, flew through the air and some of them just landed in front of Elsa, Anna and Kristoff.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that," Elsa said. "I'll make sure to get you a new sled soon. Hopefully there won' t be any more problems with pesky termites. I would make you an ice sled, but that would probably just melt in this heat. I'll see what I ca-." She didn't finish her sentence because she noticed a piece of paper descend right in front of her. She quickly grabbed it and fllipped it over to see Erik's writing on the paper. How did this get here? And why was it torn? Then she noticed all the other pieces of the letter, which were also torn. "Oh, no," she whispered.
"Elsa? What's wrong?" Anna asked, kneeling down beside the queen.
"This was a letter from the Southern Isles," she explained.
"The Southern Isles?" Anna asked.
"Yes," Elsa replied. "I had left it on the desk when I left my room. My window was closed then, so it couldn't have just blown out. And even if it did, it wouldn't be torn. I think Hans tore it, but didn't want anyone to notice."
"Did you still need it?" Anna inquired.
"Not really. I remember what it said," Elsa answered.
"Well...?" Anna prompted.
"King Erik kf the Southern Isles, Hans' oldest brother, is sending one of the other eleven to come check on Hans. Or, that's what he said. I just told him to send one just in case the prince tried to do anything else," Elsa explained. "I'm hoping this one' s not a troublemaker." "Hopefully not," Anna answered. "When is he coming?"
"Well, it takes about a day for the letter to reach them, and two days to travel. So about three, four dayss max," Elsa replied. She looked out of the corner of her eye to see Kristoff's reaction to all of this. It was probably bad enough that Hans was already here. She feared what he would do now that he knew one of the others was coming, and what he would do once the prince arrived.

Kristoff didn't really care about the other Princes. "I know one thing for sure" he said in a naive way, "since those guys punished that dork, as long as they didn't do it just to protect their public image, then they must be nice guys".
As for Hans, he was walking around teh palace. He was still thoughtful on his stupid action. Why did he tear the paper anyway? Sice the letter was open, obviously whoever opened it, Elsa or not, had read it. Plus, no answer to it would cause Erik to send someone anyway. It was stupid of his. As he was walking, he noticed the sisters and the fjordman, nearly 30 feet away from him and were facing him, but hadn't noticed him yet. Then, he saw the torn paper in Elsa's hands. "WHAT??" he thought anxious. "How?? and...Why?? Oh...just relax Hans, you know nothing about the drill" he told himself whispering and moving slowly to go back in the castle, hoping he wouldn't get noticed, because this day wasn't his best at explanations.

Elsa gave a slight smile before picking up all of the other torn pieces. She got a glimpse of Hans, but didn't tell anyone. She was tired of the back-and-forth motion that had been going on today. She didn't want to deal with more. "Well, I'm going to go get some rest. You two can stay out here if you want. Good night." And with that, she turned and walked back into the castle.
Anna watched her sister leave, then turned back to Kristoff. "Do you want to keep walking, or do you want to go inside?" She asked. The cool night wind was blowing, making Anna a little cold, but it didn't really bother her too much. She had felt worse cold run inside of her.

"Well" kristoff said, "whatever you wish, Anna. But if you feel cold, we can still go inside" and he smiled.
As for Hans, he walked swiftly into the castle and went straight for his room. As he walked, he accidentally stroke a pot, which was tossed right, cracked a window glass without breaking it, then fell down and was instantly crushed. Luckily, no one was there to see that he did it, and more embarrassed than ever, he left the shards be, moved straight for his room, hoping not to meet anyone on the way. All this anxiety had caused him to be clumsy. He just wished this day would be over and he'd just wake up from this nightmare.

Anna s.iled at Kristoff and continued walking forward. "So, your new sled was eaten by little termites, huh? You might want to be more careful. Sleds don't just grow on trees. They cost money. I know, I know. We're royalty, so we're rich, blah, blah, blah. But honestly? I don't feel rich. Rich doesn't by sisterly bonding. It doesn't buy love or friendship. Those are all things that I enjoy having. I don't really care about money, so long as I have you and Elsa." She leaned up against Kristoff, enjoying the warmth of his clothes, and him. Everything about him. She wished that they could just stay like that forever. But she knew deep down that there were more important things. "When are you planning on going back?" She asked, although she wasn't entirely sure if he heard her because it was muffled in his thick shirt.
Meanwhile, Elsa walked up into her room, melted her ice dress, put on her blue nightgown, and slipped into bed. But sleep didn't come right away. So she grabbed one of the books and began to read it, hoping to start feeling sledpysoon. She really needed her rest for her busy day tomorrow.

Kristoff was now a bit concerned. After all this trouble with Hans and Anna's fainting, he had forgotten that his sled was now being digested. He tried to think of it, but he enjoyed Anna's hug. "Yeah, sure miss tycoon" he said jokingly. "We'll solve the sled thread out for sure. But for now, I just want you to promise me that you won't get so comfounded about Hans again. Ok? And don't worry about my work, I'm not going anywhere to leave you alone for a good while. I needed some vacation after all" he told her.
Hans, on his side, decided to call it a night, but couldn't and didn't want to sleep. He hadn't even changed his clothes. Instead, he decided to walk around in the castle, in the dark. Slowly, so he wouldn't trouble or wake anyone up. He wanted to take a more careful peek of the rooms, before his brother arrived. he wanted to know a bit more about Elsa's childhood and past in general. And Anna's of course. Not that it really mattered, just for....academic purposes. As we walked, he noticed the big painting of the whole royal family. There it was, the King and Queen, in front Anna picking her nose. Heh, since then she was like that. And on the other side Elsa. Standing in a royal pose, pretty much to a classic noble. "Heh" he thought, she had that style since then. Pretty nice for sure". He stayed in front of the painting for a little longer, also inspecting the room around.

"I promise," Anna answered. "I really am sorry about that. I don't know what got into me." She smiled up at Kristoff when he mentioned the vacation he needed. "Aw, thanks. I'll try making it your best vacation ever! Although that may not be very easy with two Southern Isle princes here," she said, looking to her right for no particular reason. She suddenly thought of an idea of something she could do. She shivered as if it was really cold outside. The shiver reminded her of when her heart was frozen, which was kind of the point. She waited for Kristoff to do something.
Meanwhile, since she couldn't sleep, Elsa walked out of her bedroom and into the room with the family portrait, where Hans just happened to be. Why was he examining the picture? She decided to push that thought away and quietly walked up to the prince. "Couldn't sleep either, huh?" She asked.

Hans was startled by hearing Elsa's voice in the dark. He immediately covered the portrait in a clumsy way, like he had done something wrong, which was not true. He stood in front next to the painting. "Heh.....yeah, definitely not" he said. "Especially with the good news".
Kristoff was still outside with Anna. "Yeah, you're freezing tough girl, I can already tell" he told her, "come on, let's go back inside. I don't want you in the bed with the flu in summer" he said and dragged her slowly from her hand, towards the castle.
