Anna enjoyed the comfort from Kristoff's hug. She buried her face in his clothes, crying once again. Elsa could tell her sister was upset, but didn't know what to do. She looked up at Kristoff, then over at Hans.
"So, let me get this straight. I told you no touching either of us, and yet you kiss Anna and hope she'll marry you as a way to prove yourself?" She asked. "It would have been nice to know that when we were talking about everything in your bedroom. And none of us have to tell you anything about our personal life. That's our business, and none of yours. I have half a mind to forget all of this and just send you back to your home, but it wasn't entirely my choice for you to stay in the first place."

Hans was too strained. This time, his words were not at all to his profit. How did he really get involved in the marriage stuff? Okay, that one was justified by his ''customs''. But Elsa was right, she had told him not to touch Anna at all. "Thanks God the marriage was so instantly declined" he thought. "My stupidity would just cause me to get stuck with Anna. And I, for no reason, want that! Do I? Wait, am I even setting this as an argument to myself??". he still was confused. He couldn't realise what was happening. At some point, he even felt somehow jealous when Kristoff hugged Anna. "What on Earth, am I falling in love with the brat??" No way, it's just my anxiety talking right here and right now, end of story" he claimed to himself. And he didn't want to get sent back home yet. Because his brothers would just go on with his punishment. But was that the only reason? "Of Course It IS!!" he thought, angry with himself. Now, he had to find a way to get himself out of this trap he had thrown himself into.
"Your highness" he told Elsa, trying to be polite once more, "...I suppose you have misjudged me once more. My action is not one-sided. I didn't do what I did, just because I wanted to clear my name, or even escape my punishment back home. I wouldn't violate, or ignore your orders, if I didn't have a great reason".
"Really?" Kristoff interrupted him angrily and pushed Anna behind slowly, "and what is this reason? Just don't you dare say that this time you fell in love with Anna for reals!!" ".....I can't deny it" Hans replied. "You liar!" Kristoff shouted and punched Hans for once more. Hans stepped backwards, dizzy from the punch, but didn't want to answer to this hit. Again.

Anna looked at Hans. Did he just say that he loved her? Well, no. Not exactly. But the thought still made her head spin. The amount of crying didn't help either, and she soon lost consciousness from it all. Elsa looked away from Kristoff and Hans and ran over to her sister's side. "Anna!" For some reason, the memory of when they were young and playing in the ballroom came back to her mind, even though she hadn't used any of her powers. "Anna, wake up!" She said, trying to shake her sister. But Anna didn't stir. "Okay. We need to take her to her room," Elsa concluded. "Kristoff, do you think you could take her there?" Before Kristoff could answer, she added to Hans, "You'll stay down here with me."

Kristoff instantly took Anna in his hands and moved her to Elsa's room.
As for Hans, he was left back with Elsa. It sure didn't mean anything nice would her purpose be. He was very tense. "But...Anna.." he said, trying to follow after Kristoff, but realied Elsa wouldn't let him.
"okay...I'm listening" he said.

"No, Hans. After your mistake in what we meant by proving yourself, I want Kristoff and Anna to somehow work it out together," Elsa said. "Although, I'm curious to know, do you actually like my sister? Or are you just messing around with her again? And don't you dare lie to me!"

Hans was cornered. But it was okay, he would just lie once more, but what should he say? If he said he didn't really like Anna, then it would prove that his actions were only to improve his image and give him profit. Then again, if he said he did, then he would be in trouble. He wouldn't get unstuck so easily. What he'd rather do right now would be to get out of there. But no, Elsa wanted explanation. "Well then, she'll have it" he thought.
"I....um..." he mumbled out too much. It was harder than expected, for once more. "Look, it's....it's complicated, milady. I....um...Anna is....". He didn't know what to do. He was too cornered at that point. He didn't know what to say.
As for Kristoff, he had carefully placed Anna on the room's bed. He was too concerned, but he was certain about his dear. She would never betray him, especially to be with that monster, Hans. He awaited until Anna would come to senses again.

"What's complicated? I see nothing complicated about this," Elsa answered. "Look, I don't mind if you say you like her. We all love someone at some point that we know we can't have. Of course, you wouldn't want to Krjstoff about it, but I wouldn't mind." She brushed back her hair subconsciously, not sure what else to do.
Anna slowly began stirring. When she opened her eyes, she instantly saw her fiance standing there next to the bed. She squirmed to the other side of the bed, though. "I understand if you hate me," she said. "I shouldn't have done what I did. I should have just sent him back home. But I was hoping he could prove himself somehow. Not that way, though."

Hans realised his schemes were at stakes. He didn't know what to do. For one moment, he thought of telling Elsa the truth regarding his real plans. He didn't like what had just happened. And he didn't want to show the responsible man's face over a false incident again. Bu t was so different from what he first had in mind. Something had changed him, so much, throughout just a single day. Was it Anna? Was it Anna he was falling for? Or was he confused? He couldn't tell yet. And he was so cockploked, trying to speak to Elsa. Why did he always had so much trouble speaking with her? He was fine last year, and his position and purpose was far worse than this one. He remembered the moment, when he entered the ice palace and found the Snow Queen, ready to excute the Duke of Weselton's bodyguards. He cated so calmly and carefully then, even though Elsa could just freeze him any moment she wished. He had executed that plan so perfectly. But now what had changed? He was so anxious. It was like his tongue had been tied up in his throat and wouldn't speak. All he did was hum and haw. What should he tell Elsa? He didn't know. His lies had returned into his face like a boomerang and was cornered, more than ever. At least that was how he saw it. No, he'd just answer, straight and clear. He'd just turn the matter to his own, trying to prove himself that he was still as selfish as ever.
"There is no reason in continuing this conversation" he told Elsa. "All I want is make everything clear with Kristoff and Anna. Then, it's up to you, my Queen. For I have not received a solid apology yet, and this is crucial to me.
Krisoff in the meanwhile, had just heard the first words his fiance had said, upon regaining her senses. He sood back and sat to the other side of the bed. Then, he smiled at Anna, as much as he could, despite his confusion. "There's no reason for me to hate you" he told her and stroke her hair gently. "But...How could you entrust and have this monster around you, despite what he did last year? That was silly, in my opinion. But we can still fix it, by getting rid of him as soon as possible. It's all this jerk's fault, who grabbed and kissed you by force....Am I right?"
As for Olaf, he was still wandering around the city, unhappier than ever. At some point, he sat down and watched the sky disappointed. "I'm so....lonely.... I want a warm hug" he told himself, sad. Suddenly, he felt a push on his back. it was Sven, who had also been left back and came after his little snowy friend. "Sven!" Olaf remarked happily. "I knew someone wouldn't have forgotten me!". He grabbed and hugged Sven's snout. "You're my best friend!" he told the reindeer, and Sven started licking his face full of excitement. "Whoa, whoa" Olaf said, trying to rpevent Sven and laughed a lot.

Elsa sighed, knowing she wouldn't get an answer from Hans about this topic at all. "All right, Hans. But as soon as Anna's better, you're leaving. I can't have you snooping around, ruining our lives all over again," she said. "Got it?"
Anna turned over to face Kristoff. "Yes. The kiss was a forced one. And who ever siad I trusted him?! The whole reason why I had him stay to prove himself was because I didn't trust him!" She shouted. Realizing she had rased her voice, she took a deep breath to calm down. "Sorry. I wasn't yelling at you. It's just been a long, hard day." She wanted to scoot closer to Kristoff, be as close to him as possible, just like they always were. He had said he didn't hate her, so what was she waiting for? 'I don't want to get my heart broken,' she thought. 'That's the only possible answer. I don't want to be pushed away because of what I did.' She took a deep breath, not sure if she should ask the question. 'Oh, why not? It won't hurt. Worst case scenario, he'll say no, and you'll be left alone.' She took a shaky breath, and then asked, "Kristoff, do you still love me?"

"I'm...I'm leaving? But....I haven't received the slightest apology yet" Hans told Elsa. He was starting to lose his temper. "I have made this whole trip, from my distant land, to come here, and all I've received so far is 2 fists straight in my face! I cannot accept to leave and return back home empty-handed, with just having caused another misunderstanding!". His temper caused his tone to raise a bit. "You can't do this".
As for Kristoff, he was astonished by Anna's silly question. "Of course I do, Anna" he told her. "And I always will, no matter what".
Meanwhile, Olaf was telling Sven his problem, on how the others were ''playing'' and he was left alone. Then, Sven nodded his head negatively. "What?" olaf asked puzzled. "I said they were playing..." Sven pushed him with his head and kept on nodding. "What....you mean they weren't playing??"Olaf asked Sven troubled. "Oooh, and I was telling you Sven, something was important, but you just did'n listen!" he said in a silly smiley face. Uh, it's ok then, come on silly misunderstander, let's go slide on ice!'. Then he left, with Sven looking at him real puzzled, on how he ended up confusing Olaf into this.

Elsa sighed, unsure of what to do. She knew Hans had a good point. No one had said "I forgive you" yet, although it was a very small chance Anna would say that now. "All right, Hans. You can stay here for a little while. But don't get too close to Anna. And no kissing her anymore."
Anna looked up at Kristoff, a smile creeping onto her face. "I'm glad to hear that. Especially after what happened. You seemed extremely angry. I mean, I know there was Hans there, but I was afraid some of that anger might have been aimed at me, since it was my choice that he stayed here, and I didn't push away from the kiss. Even though I was crying nonstop at that time, I'm glad you showed up when you did. Who knows what might have happened if you weren't." She sat up on the bed and kissed Kristoff's cheek, giving him a soft smile.

Hans had realised for once more, he wasn't getting anywhere. His apology was still at stakes, even though he had received Elsa's permission to stay longer. Even though he'd rather not to. And more after what happened with Anna, especially in his head. "Elsa" he told her, and suddenly stopped. "...If...if I may talk to you in person of course, milady, but...there is this point that my brothers....never really..heh..mentioned which one's, yours or your sister's apology I have to receive. I, myself, of course, would love to be forgiven by both of you, for sure" he said in a lying tone, which accidentally came up. "I could have lied on it, but my brothers will want to receive a letter by the Queen herself to confirm my apology and that she accepted it" he thought to himself. "Just get over with this already!"
"As you understand" he then continued, "I won't be getting anywhere with Anna, any time soon. So...If...you may?".
As for Kristoff, Anna's words somehow surpirsed him. "o it wasn't just my idea" he thought, "she really didn't back away". He really wanted to ask her why she did this, but he was forcefully prevented by that beautiful smile she was giving him. He didn't want to spoil it so suddenly, but he just couldn't resist. "Why didn't you push away from the kiss?" he asked her. "What stopped you? Please, don't lie to me, just tell me the truth and....I will understand. Trust me".

Elsa was still unsure of what to do. She didn't want Hans to leave. Wait, what? 'Because of Anna. Yeah That's why,' she thought to herself. "I'm sorry, Hans, but I'd rather not do something that would hurt Anna. So, if you don't mind, I would like to talk to her before I do anything."
Anna looked away from Kristoff, unable to look at her fiance while she answered. "I'm not enitrely sure. As you probably well know better than anyone else, I had been wanting it since last year when he decided to betray me. I don't entirely know why, at that moment, I didn't push away, after everything he's done." She didn't want to tell him that maybe she felt something with the kiss, in case it would tick him off. She wanted to kiss Kristoff, to confirm in her mind that he was her real love, but she wouldn't do it without his permission.

Hans was still unsure on this. "But...your sister..." he tried to say, but stopped. Better not bring any more disobedience in Elsa's words. "Fine, Elsa" he said. "As you wish, but I will insist this is a no-go. Now, if you excuse me" he said and prepared to walk away, in order to think into this a bit more.
Kristoff still didn't really get what Anna meant by those last words. Before talking, he kissed her without hesitation. Then, he spoke in a calm manner. "You silly, don't tell me you really wanted to see what it would be with his kiss. Because then, it would be awkward. Yeah, it definitely would".

Elsa, unsure of what else to say, turned around and walked back to her study. She would check on Anna in about half an hour. If she was awake already, she wanted her sister to spend as much time with her fiance as possible to make up for everything. Hans could wait.
Anna xmiled up at Kristoff. The kiss had reassured her, just like she wanted. "How about we leave the past in the past and say that what happened doesn't matter anymore?" She suggested. "Don't worry. You don't have any competition. No Southern weasel can break us apart, no matter how hard he tries."
