Granted, this topic is from deleted material, but when I heard the sound in the We Know Better, I started to wonder about this.
I'm thinking this is from an earlier version of the script, one where Elsa and Anna were not so estranged.
Judging from the lyrics, they're playing together, although I question the safety of what they were playing with!
At a certain part in the song, there's a clashing sound like two swordblades hitting each other.
I assume Elsa and Anna are practice dueling, testing their skills against each other.
Now, even practice swords can be dangerous if you are untrained, so I assume they were taught how to use them properly, otherwise no sane parent would have handed their 10 and 7 year old (I'm assuming this is how old they are, they sound like children in this part) daughters real swords!
Which makes me wonder if their parents were preparing them to defend themselves should they need to.
Although not very common, there have been times in history if a family did not have any sons, they taught their daughters the skills of war normally reserved for men only.
Which might be the case here.
That would have been an interesting addition to the movie, a Queen and Princess who had formal fighting training.
I'm now imagining what Elsa's sword would look like, something light and ornate, probably with a silver grip and a clear blade (to look like ice).
If she forged it herself, it might be literal ice, permanently frozen and hardened.
But even if Elsa didn't have any sword training, she'd still have a sword anyway, all Queens do, for ceremonial purposes.
It's traditional when knighting one of your soldiers for valorous or outstanding duty to tap him on both shoulders with your sword to signify the honor he is given.
