While I was playing a mission location in Avengers Alliance, I came across a Deploy Mission that made me smile: You find it in this location. I thought it was an interesting Easter Egg, considering this is not a Disney game. But the game developers do have a Disney game (Hidden Worlds) too. Also, given that Disney owns the rights to Marvel now, I guess it's okay to do some crosspromotion. This is a Sentinel: To give you an idea of how big one is, a tall person is just below their knee joint. They're also equipped with a variety of weapons systems, energy weapons, rocket salvos, retractable shock tentacles to mention a few.

I always preferred the classic sentinels showed in Xmen 2: Legends game. They're cool, and still easy to bring down.

I played that game a lot, all characters to level 99, even the bonus ones and they all had special sets.
It was fun to smack giant robots around with Colossus.

Interesting. Mine were always near level 50, plus my cousin was a Wolverine pro, always getting all the kills (and levelling up faster than the others-yeah, we always played co-op). It was somehow funny to beat the big sentinels so easily, while the smaller ones, the human-sized, were so tough.
Well, I myself preferred Cyclops, shooting from afar always was my preference.

I think the reason given for that is the human sized sentinels had more advanced technology then the larger ones.
The smaller Sentinels used nanotechnology stolen from the future (an alternate timeline) where Sentinels were quite different from what we know.
