I was doing some research on Frozen dolls trying to find out which were the best ones. The criteria I judge them by is how much they look like the characters, level of detail (dolls, clothing, accessories) and maybe articulation of the dolls in question. My research is only preliminary at this stage, but this one looks pretty good: Deluxe fashion doll set
Unfortunately, it says sold out at the bottom of that page. I checked Amazon and it's selling there for $400 dollars. That's over 4 times the retail price (it originally cost $70). I've really got to stop using their website, everytime I encounter a situation like this, it just makes me really mad. Imagine Marshmallow on a really bad day going on a rampage of destruction and you get the idea of how I feel whenever this happens! What are some other good Frozen dolls?

I have that set. But there is also there Classic dolls. Just ignore the frozen Anna in the middle. each of these are a single character. mattel Also makes frozen dolls but those look like they want your soul. I been meaning to get Kristoff and Hans from the Disney store. mattel's kirstoff also looks like he wants my soul and they didn't even make Hans. Plus on the mattels part of the outfit is painted on

If the classic dolls are still available, they might be worth looking into.
Do you know where they can be purchased?
Preferably online, since I haven't seen them in any stores near me. Not that I've been looking that hard, since those sections are usually full of barbies and baby Disney princess stuff.

Considering purchasing this set: Frozen Deluxe Dolls
Do they have good (authentic) face sculpts? Anna's hairstyle is odd though, it's not her twin braids look. I wonder if that can be changed? I like the fact that you get two outfits for Anna and Elsa, that's a plus. Anyone got any feedback if this is the product I should buy? I'm uncertain if this is an Australian website though, I got directed here when I asked for Disney Store Australia. That can be a factor as sometimes (not always, but usually) they charge Australians double or triple the cost of the product you are ordering!

Anna's hair is suppose to be her Coronation hair style. if they are the same as the ones i have, they are every good.

Okay, now I'm annoyed.
DisneyStore mailed me a discount coupon, so I thought, okay, let's buy a couple of these dolls to test the process.
The international shipping turned out to be more then the cost of the products without the discount!
I'm going to have to reconsider what to do now. I'd prefer to go to a local store, but as far as I know, Australia does not have any Disney stores, Even if it was one in another state, the cost for shipping would be far less then from America.
And the deluxe doll set is out of stock. Will they get more of those in or was it a one time deal?

They should get more in as they would want to sell them for Christmas.

It looks like Australians are really stuffed when it comes to Frozen dolls: Shortage of Frozen dolls in Australia
The only ones I've seen for sale locally are the ones I'm not looking for, novelty dolls or the stuffed plushy variety. Have a look at this catalog to see some of the dolls I rejected: Frozen Merchandise (Toys R Us Australia)Most of this catalog isn't dolls by the way. I might have to considering going to a proper doll shop, but if anyone had at least common sense, they've probably beaten me to it and gotten them already. It doesn't help that I live in the part of our country where retail is terrible, so I just can't go to the stores and look. I've decided what I want though, I'd like to get the Classic dolls first. And then maybe the Deluxe Fashion dolls as well, but that's probably very hard, as they seem to be released in limited quantities. The Disney online store is sold out of them again and it's the second time they've been offered!!!!

I got the Classic Anna and Elsa first, about 2? months later, i got the Anna/Elsa deluxe set and last month I got Classic Hans and Krsitoff.
not sure if they have just the anna/elsa deluxe set, since now they have the bigger set with Hans and kristoff. so all of these guy i gotten off the website.
I will also add that when i was at the Disney store at Mall of America they did not have the classic dolls in stock, so if there is a store near you, I'd call them first.

Sadly, there is no Disney store nearby. Heck, there isn't even one in the country!
I may have found them at an Australian online retailer, but I'm still thinking that one over, as the price is higher then what the Disney store quoted.
So far, I'm thinking it might be practical to find a store that doesn't advertise online and go in person. But I'm not sure where to get the deluxe four set this way. Seeing as it's a collectors item, I might have to find a specialty doll shop that sells expensive stuff.

other stores will not have these as they are sold by The Disney store and will only be at the Disney store or the Disney store online.
